  : Its location in the heart of Alba, in close proximity to the town centre and lots of places to eat out. Ample breakfast provided at a local bar. Room clean and tidy, comfortable bed.
  : The check in process. Apartment challenging to find and contrary to instructions you do need to find the Savona Hotel to check in and then be taken round to the apartment and parking. Also not a place for a person of disability or mobility issues as you could end up on the second floor, up two flights of steep stairs ( no lift).

  : The appartment really has the bare minimum of equipment. For example there are only two plates, only one teaspoon, one big spoon, two forks. So if you wish to eat dinner/breakfast at with two people it is a bit annoying one teaspoon etc. No soap in the bathroom. The pictures with the tennis racquet on the bed give the impression the appartment is glamorous and equipped at least but really it is much more empty. It is not bad at all and a good price for Alba, but we were disappointed since the pictures make out it is better than it is.Location is good.

  : The location is good. The apartment was fine (except two light bulbs didn't work and there was no hand soap.) The host was kind. Residence XX Settembre has 7 apartments in one building. It shares management and Wi-Fi with Residence Caff Savona that has apartments just around the corner. A couple doors down from Residence Caff Savona is a fine Prestofresco supermarket that has what you need.
  : At check in, we were told there was Wi-Fi. I immediately let them know there was no Wi-Fi. I asked if it would be fixed and got a vague reply. After 5 days, the evening before we checked out, they said it was fixed. It was a great inconvenience to look for Wi-Fi around town. Cellular data was not strong. As for Alba, we were surprised to see how many people came to town for the day for the truffle festival on the weekend. The streets and restaurants were full. There were many street vendors and thousands of visitors. West of town there was also a huge carnival with many rides for children. It was quiet by Tuesday with only a few tourists in town. It's difficult to visit nearby towns without a car. Train service is limited. The bus system is not easy for tourists to use. There are no food/ wine tours you can join. Private tours cost 400 Euros for 4 hours for 2 people.

  : The location of the hotel really was excellent and it was easy to explore Alba and the villages around it. There was a large free parking space nearby, which was very convenient for us. The apartment was very clean and warm even though it was quite cold outside during the nights. We had a great stay, thanks!
