  : This is is 16th building, beautifully furnished, in a great location. The tower room which has a spectacular view of Albi is reached by a very narrow circular stone staircase with only a rope to hold onto. We tried the stairs but felt it was not suitable for two seniors, so we changed to a beautiful room on the 2nd floor. However, there is not a mirror with enough light to put on make up. We needed to email the host to find out how to ring the doorbell when we arrived. We are from Canada and had not seen this system. The breakfast was lovely - delicious and elegant.

  : The rooms were absolutely beautiful and carefully curated to maintain the decor of the time. The bed was very comfortable (not a bed of the time period!) and we slept very well.
  : Perhaps because we are not European, we missed a little bit more protein at breakfast.
