  : the interior was nice and clean
  : the outside area needed a lot of maintenance. holiday makers spend their time outside and the outside of this property was in disrepair. all the so called white walls around the garden area were black, there were several areas of broken crumbling tiles which were dangerous. the shutters on the outside of the living room were thick with grime. I have stayed at several villas in albufeira but would not stay at this one again

  : Lovely stay communication, customer service was very poor, had to communicate on average 3 times in order to get a response about all requests and enquiries. Had to practically beg them to clean, change sheets and towels to cover our 1 month stay which they did not want to do at all and explained that it was complimentary despite our duration of stay. Gas cooker bottle ran out, no spare and communication having this resolveed was inconvenient and time consuming. Kitchen utensils and crockery was burnt, rusty, broken or chipped, pot handles missing creating hazards when cooking. Cockroaches and ants were our regular visitors. The metal beds queaked with every move, I had to buy tools to tighten bolts myself as this would have been a 3 day process in attempting to get a response despite on WhatsApp someone constantly being online to see your messages. Tiles on the kitchen walls all loose ready to fall off any minute. There was 1 fan in the whole property that housed 5 without air conditioning, I think the issue here is obvious. Lovely Stay management is awful to say the least. It seems they have no system or procedure in place for any event except for handing over keys as no one was able to deal with anything we raised or knew how to without promising to get back to us which never actually happened. We constantly had to chase them. The property and the utilities require some attention which is clearly not happening. At 2700 euros, it was not value for money. Both my wife and I have visited Portugal for the last 12 years and stayed in multiple villas and this was by far the worst in every aspect. As an owner of a property managed by this company, I'd take my business elsewhere and I will never book a property management by Lovely Stay in the future. Just to note, however, the cleaners were lovely and were tipped.
