  : We were in town for an event at the Expo NM Fairgrounds down the street and could easily take a free bus down the street in about an hour. It saved us the headache of parking and waiting in long car lines at the event site. There were some characters at the bus stop, but I always felt safe. The neighborhood between the bus stop and the Expo Center was really lovely, too!The Bad: As much as I liked the hotel, I won't be staying here again and can't recommend this place due to one member of the staff. So every morning, I got some coffee from the Keurig machines in the lobby. I like to use my own travel mug, partly to be environmentally friendly (I forgot my reusable Kcup at home!) and partly because I swear hot drinks taste better out of different mugs. The day we were leaving for our 10 hour drive to continue our honeymoon, I especially wanted my taller and firmer mug compared to their shorter, disposable cups. I got my coffee like usual: I threw away the previous person's Kcup, put mine in, set aside drip tray from the machine so that my mug could fit, and brewed the coffee on the tall mug setting on the machine. But that time, the drip tray had more liquid than I thought, so some of it, maybe 2-3 Tbs, spilled on the counter! So I asked the man at the lobby desk where the paper towels were. He told me not to worry about it, that he has a rag he can clean it up with. How nice! I don't know if I put the drip tray back this time, but I know I carefully threw away my used K-cup. I absolutely hate cleaning my machine's drip tray at home, so I find it best to throw the used grounds away as soon as possible. So I go back to my room to finish packing.
  : Continued: Right before we're about to leave, I finished my coffee and decided to get some more for the road. As I was grabbing my Kcup, the same staff member was there talking to someone else getting a hot drink. In the middle of his conversation, he sees my tall mug and politely says, "We don't allow those here," and then continues his conversation. I was a little stumped because he saw me use it before. Every other morning staff member has seen me use it. There weren't any signs saying we couldn't use them. He must have been trying to tell me that it doesn't fit, right? Why wouldn't they allow your own mugs? They even have a card in the room saying they're trying to be environmentally friendly. I know it fits, and I didn’t think it was important enough to interrupt their conversation, so I got my coffee like usual. This time, no spillage from the drip tray. There were 3 drips onto the counter while moving my used Kcup to the trash, but it was nothing compared to the large amount of sugar someone had spilled before I got there. There still weren’t any napkins and the staff member made it seem he was ok with cleaning the mess earlier, so I didn’t clean it up. As I leave the lobby, the man passive aggressively says, “Thanks for not following the rules.” I was confused and asked him to clarify. I asked why no other employee said anything, why he didn’t say anything earlier, why there wasn’t a sign, and why it was a rule in the first place. I told him it did fit without the drip tray and that any mess I do make, I’m more than willing to clean up myself. He said it's because he said so, that there doesn’t have to be a reason, that I’m a Karen (for not obeying him?), and that I should just leave. TLDR: Beware of the tyrannical staff member.

  : It was an older building in a little bit of a sketchy area, but it was well maintained for the most part.

  : I really didn't have any issues. Property well maintained. I stayed there coming to Arizona and leaving to go back home. Can't beat the price.

  : The updates were very nice.
  : The acoustics were terrible. Unfortunately, we were placed on the first floor , and the people above us sounded like a herd of elephants all night long. We were miserable.
