: Barleys cottage is amazing. Really clean and cosy with lots of personal touches which make it seem like a home from home. The location is brilliant - right off the high street. Its really well kitted out, particularly in the kitchen, so theres no real need to eat out if you dont want to. We stayed in the week leading up to Christmas and theyd even put a tree up for us! Couldnt recommend more highly and we can wait to come back!
: The above said, we did have a bit of a nightmare on our first night. We had not been provided with a code for the lockbox to access the front door key and because we had a late check-in, we were not able to get in contact with host on the night. We ended up having to check in to a hotel for the first night. The host did reimburse us for the cost of the first night at their property however and given how nice our stay was, we quickly forgot about the issue!

: The beds were very comfy. The location is great and it was cosy and good for what we needed.
: The check-in time is quite late and they make you remove the bins at the end of the stay which when you pay such a huge amount of money is annoying.

: The stairs are not at all good for anyone with any mobility problems. The stairway is steep and twisty and there is no proper handrail - just a loose rope.

: The cottage was cosy, comfortable, clean and well equipped. The decor was a pleasant seaside theme.
: The cottage was perfect apart from one thing, that was the macerator toilet in the en-suite, it smelt after each flush. Best to use one of the other two toilets.
