  : Aldeburgh is a lovely seaside town retaining independent shops and restaurants. The cottage is on the high street with a small frontage. Inside as expected with cosy living space fully equipped compact kitchen and newly refurbed bathroom. small outside private space, but next door does have access across it. Easy access to everything you require for an English seaside holiday. Parking is easy at the rear of the property either using the two hour free slots up the high street or the pay& display overnight which is free until 8am. Little morning walk to put a ticket on and a stroll on the beach.
  : Considering covid is still with us, I was expecting a level of cleanliness. However, the banister rail on the steep staircase was black with hand marks. Small point to raise but it spoiled the initial wow factor. There is a very strange small toilet in the main bedroom, fitted inside a cupboard and it's impossible to close the door if you are using it. Complete waste unless you are a single occupant. There is bizarrely a freezer sitting in the lounge. Personally, I can't see the need for it even if four people are staying for a week's holiday. Plenty of fridge space and shops across the road. Just my opinion.
