  : Breakfast was simple but fit the cost of the hotel, it was bagels cream cheese and a choice of cereal & milk, hot tea or coffee, muffins, string cheese were the options. However, you could choose to make waffles. Which again considering cost that was fine. The staff was friendly and welcoming the area seemed predominantly Caucasian so to be an all black family traveling to Alexandria Minnesota for the first the town was surprisingly lovely. We were comfortable, some places people act funny not here. We are at Talltrees restaurant across from super 8 the food was awesome, well seasoned and cooked to perfection, ribs roasted chicken, salmon just awesome. Everywhere we went the people and staff were welcoming and friendly and that's important especially for a tribe of women traveling alone exploring a new scene with children. We spent a few hours at Casey's amusement park and the owner is just as sweet, we participated in everything. We loved the whole experience.
  : There was a small stain on our bed but we were able to get new sheets so no biggie probably an oversight because this place was clean, you can tell they take pride in their service. Though at one point it smelled like bug spray I think it's because of what they used to clean we saw no bugs at all. Just needs a few repairs but the necessities were well kept. I loved the hardwood floors

  : Staff were friendly and polite. Outside of building was nicely updated. Inside was clean but outdated. We were happy we were on the main floor because we didn’t see an elevator. We were only there 1 night so it was adequate.
  : Outdated inside and uncomfortable bed. It was expensive for the interior quality.

  : Shower sucked. No pressure and literally a stream coming out of the shower head. The room was hot and muggy the air did not work well.
