  : Everything here was exceptional for a 4 star hotel! Location was excellent, and we were able to walk to Harvard Square if we wanted to, which we did many times and it was a very pleasant walk along the river and in the square. But we also took the shuttle every day and the shuttle drivers were amazingly kind. Staff members everywhere in the hotel were warm, welcoming and wonderful, from front desk, to housekeepers to waitstaff. Food was delicious! It was really wonderful to have the shuttle as an amenity because it was very hot all week. The room was spacious and exceptionally clean for a 4 star hotel! And the gym was immaculate and the best hotel gym I've ever had the pleasure to use. I also loved my suite which overlooked the Charles River. Our family would definitely stay here again!
  : Bed was adequate but lumpy and pillows were lumpy as well. I think it's time to replace or at least rotate the mattress and pillows. While the suite was beautiful being located by the river, traffic noise was very loud and took me a couple of days to get used to. The air conditioner was also loud and the sound of it went off and on all night. Walls were a little thin and I could hear kids slamming doors next door and loud people on floors above. However, generally, the hotel was quiet and restful during the 6 days / nights we stayed there. I was able to fix the noise issues by wearing ear plugs and then was able to sleep well. The main complaint I have is price of parking ($47 per day) and food and beverages, especially alcoholic beverages. Also, I was extremely disappointed that the jazz club was closed:(. But the excellent service, location, amenties such as the gym and shuttle, not to mention the amazing chocolate chip cookies each day, plus the excellent staff made all of it feel like it was worth it. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
