  : one thing we didn't like the noise in the morning, from 4 am in the morning it was really loud, first some bins collection and than some people "chatting" all morning it was really hard to sleep

  : Was verbally attacked for being Chinese by a passerby. Hotel didnt do much about it even as the women stood at the front door and continued berating me but it was probably best to have ignored her. Someone (not sure if staff or another guest) went out and spoke to her

  : The location is excellent! You're right in the middle of it all, close to the main square and about a 5 mins walk to the water and the ferry. The hotel is clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was popular, great selection and good fresh coffee made to order. We sat out on the terrace on one of the days. It's also remarkabley quiet even though it's so close to the main street.
  : The stairs! Not much you can do in Amalfi without taking the stairs. If you have a lot of luggage try to see if they can take your luggage through the elevator from the parking garage, if not, you're carrying your luggage up about 30 steep steps. The internet sometimes acts up but it's not that big of an inconvenience.

  : The room and the floor we were on looked luxurious and 5 star worthy. The bedroom was really clean and the bed was really comfortable. There was also good storage for all of our stuff. However, we explored the rest of the hotel and the above floors had different decor and vibes. In comparison to our floor, which was the 1st, it did look lower class which is misleading because youre paying the same amount of money. Due to a medical issue that could not be helped, the hotel staff delayed our check out by 2 hours but didnt seem happy to do this. The location was great as it is situated just behind the main Amalfi square. However, you need to go up a really steep flight of stairs to get to the hotel so bear in mind if you have heavy luggage.
  : The facilities such as the bar and garden were not open mid season which was August. To reiterate what I wrote above, it is a hotel of two halfs. Our first receptionist was lovely and really helpful, however the other staff we encountered were not so nice and helpful.

  : The property agreed on free cancelation. However, after I left property charged full and revoked their acceptance of free cancellation. I have mentioned sea view request in my reservation. Property did not message me informing that the whole hotel has no sea view. Later after I left Amalfi Boutique Hotel sent me message that they are not cancelling and that the room description has street view. Whereas, as mentioned earlier that room has complete blocked view by another building only 2 to 3 meters apart. This is a complete misleading information that is marketed thru Booking platform. Based on all mentioned above, I request full refund as room description is misleading and property revoked our agreement after I left Amalfi. This has left me highly dissatisfied with the property and with Booking.com and lost trust for future reservations.
