  : Announced a $57 dog fee on top of my $170 reservation bringing it over $225, which was unexpected. Five or six guys sitting right outside my window, drinking beer, and being loud and boisterous was not acted upon by the front desk staff. Rather, they told me that those “guys from the truck” “usually” leave by about 8:15 “or so” at night, and that I should call to the desk again if they weren’t gone by then. When they weren’t, I asked the desk to handle it, and they asked me what I wanted them to do? I asked them to change my room. After some groveling, they agreed. As I walked from one wing to the next to my new room, the guy from outside came inside, carrying a case of beer, And we’re in the hallway at the room right next to the one that they were going to check me into. I went back to the front desk and asked them why they would put me next to those guys who they seem to know. They said to just go back to my old room. I did that, and spent the rest of the evening hearing the washing machines from the laundromat across the hall. The walls are clearly not up to the job of keeping the hotel rooms reasonably quiet at night. Also, the digital display on the alarm. Clock in my room didn’t work, the television only worked on and off, so I gave up, And in general, I felt like I was being taken advantage of every level. Not good.

  : We used booking.com to make our reservation for 3 nights in June. On May 18th, we updated our reservation from 3 nights to 2 nights (cancelled first night). Upon arrival, the hotel told us that since we didn’t arrive the first day that they cancelled our reservation- and were sold out of rooms. I even had my confirmation from booking.com with the updated reservation and the explanation I got was “booking.com never updated our system with the new dates”. We had just drove 12 hours for the Nacar race and had no room. We were fortunate enough to find a nice nearby hotel with availability but this was a stressful experience

  : Good breakfast, with a nice variety available. Wi-fi worked very well during the whole of my visit. Window shade blocked out almost all external light, good for those of us who like to sleep in a dark room. Shower worked well: controls allowed for fine adjustment, so it wasn't the sort where a small adjustment of the knob takes us from frigid to scalding.
  : The bedside clock had a white display, which is not good for people who like dark rooms—I had to cover it with a towel. I'd suggest red displays, when the time comes to replace the clocks.Check-out time was noon, and I had the do-not-disturb sign hanging on the outside doorknob. Nevertheless, someone knocked at my door several times, beginning shortly before 10 a.m. I assume that this was housekeeping, and if it was, they need to be impressed with the importance of respecting that sign.

  : Tables crowded and wobbly. Room clean, but air conditioner was way too loud …difficult to sleep with noise, and mostly for this reason, will not return to this Holiday Inn.
