  : This is a simple and basic but very comfortable accommodation with incredible sea views (we stayed in room 8 and our balcony was amazing). The staff is very kind, the cleaning lady was very sweet and the room was always very clean. It is 2min walk to the port (we could enjoy the view over it from our balcony) but at the same time it is slightly behind the port and so it is quiet. The town is very small, the beach is sandy and has crystal clear waters. A day trip to Chora (the town is super cute) and to the monastery is highly recommended. We have just left Filoxenia and we are missing our balcony already!
  : Our room had one double bed and one single bed. Double bed had comfortable mattress but single bed seemed to have a very thin one, when you sit on it you can feel the springs. If we had to use it, it would have been a problem. The shower curtain in the bathroom could easily be upgraded to a more decent one, the way it is attached is strange, you cannot take the shower without the plastic curtain touching all over your body. They can also add a corner shelf at the bathroom to put shampoo etc. You have to kneel down to take your stuff from the floor each time. Also, please note they don't have a proper kitchenette where you can cook, you have a fridge, kettle and facility to make Greek coffee, that's all. Once you have your Greek coffee in that balcony to the sound of waves next to you, you will forget about these problems though :)
