  : The rooms are actually suites, with lounge and kitchenette and separate bedroom and en-suite facilities. Spotlessly clean and modern and very comfortable. The hotel is very central in Andermatt, quite literally a few steps into the central area of restaurants , bars and cafes.
  : Two days before arrival and months after booking, we received an email advising that the restaurant would be closed, other than for breakfast. As it happens, we ate very well and easily at the restaurants in town, it was just a surprise to be told in the manner we were. Also worth noting that the wifi is switched off at 11pm and not switched on again until I think it was 7am. This is supposed to be helping the green credentials of the hotel, but goodness knows how? Finally and most alarming of all, the hotel hit me with a 20 per night "energy supplement" on top of the approx 300 per night B&B charge. Needless to say I hit them back and it was removed when I refused to pay it. I do not like being taken advantage of and if they close the restaurant and switch off the wifi to save energy and money, why the heck should I pay forty quid more .......not happening.

  : The staff were friendly and helpful when I had queries and the location was good. The bus around town is useful too.
  : The property needs some updating and it is extremely overpriced for what it is. There was a kitchenette facility but all the cupboards were locked and you couldnt use it.Also - the ski shop that you receive a discount at is very far from the hotel and there are other ones just across the street.

  : I loved this hotel. The staff was helpful and kind. The breakfast was delicious every morning. Central to the lifts and good restaurants.
  : I was expecting to be able to use the kitchen/kitchen utensils/plates etc. Otherwise great room.

  : The entire hotel stay no reception very cold atmosphere - you really don't have any choice of hotels being in a small place like that. the receptionist has to be more informative and more friendly. I would not return to that hotel. overally priced for what it was.....
