: Great staff! - Very attentive to all our needs! Thank you for everything! Great location - behind the main boulevard. It is a small hotel/pension, with just a few rooms, but very coquette decoration, with an attention to details: carved wood furniture, with impressive bed and wardrobes (but new, not old, not smelly or moldy), with big bathrooms where you can find any toiletry needed - from shampoos and soap, to vanity kit, hair drier, dental kit (never found outside of big chains). Bathrobes provided. Bidet in the bathroom is a plus. Everything clean, including the towels and the bed linen. We changed rooms (because in our first room, the water pressure was not very good for hot water), and in our first room, the bathroom, overlooking the street had a big window, as big as the room's window, so there was plenty of natural light, which is a plus (never found in other hotels). However, we raised it with the manager and they looked immediately for a solution, and in the end, they upgraded our room (free of charge) to a much bigger one (with a desk, which I also requested). The restaurant where the breakfast was served, is small but also coquette, decorated in the same style as the rest of the hotel. It used to be a Gault Millau rewarded restaurant, but nowadays it is closed (only open for breakfast), because they have no chef for lunch/dinner. However, the breakfast was served in style: good cappuccino and juice, to start with. Then a plate with either scrambled eggs or mesh and a selection of fine cheeses, meats and vegetables, lemon, nicely arranged on the plate, accompanied by a good basket of toast freshly made (on top of this, there is a buffet with some shelf stable sweets - packaged - and fruits, yoghurt, cereal, for those who need some extras). Very good. Nice atmosphere, with good, pleasant environmental music in the restaurant (in a very low volume). It has parking places (3), so we also got our free parking place.
: We liked everything that had to do with housekeeping. But, maybe still to mention: the windows were overlooking the street, so it is a bit noisy. Even if it is not the main boulevard, there were still some cars or, Saturday night, even motorcycles quite noisy. The lower room was a bit chilly, but we enjoyed it, because it was very warm outside. The towels/bed linen are not the newest, but they are very clean and trustworthy, so really not an issue. However, I wanted to mention this, just in case somebody else makes a bed remarks about them, it is worth clarifying. Checking in was easy, but after we saw the phone number of the manager on the wall. Actually, there is no 24h reception, as mentioned on the booking site, no face to face reception, at least. However, as soon as we called we've got the clear instructions about how to check in, and it was smooth and easy. The location is easy to find - I saw someone writing that it was difficult to find - actually not, it is just behind the main boulevard, you take the 1st to the right after the Continental Forum hotel, and after approx. 500m, the name of the hotel is visibly displayed at the entrance, you cannot miss it. the internet connection quality depends on the room - better upstairs, lower signal downstairs (where I had to use my mobile hotspot, but no inconvenience because of that).
