  : Great old building Great characters. Staff only there certain times also had to leave a deposit .but nice pool but small .Arcachon is so nice thought .Great for bikes .bike room here so handy .

  : Nice hotel in the calm area of the town, beautiful historical villa. Staid full week, small kitchenette was very helpful, the electric kettle was provided at the reception. Small drying rack was also helpful to dry the towels etc. Our room had high ceilings with panoramic windows heading the inner glass veranda and garden. Pleasant staff at the deception desk, gave a few helpful suggestions over most touristic attractions.
  : the building is historical, so there are very few power sockets in the room, we took an extension cord with us. There is no air conditioner in the room. Large windows, in addition to being beautiful, do not have mosquito nets, at the time of our trip this was not critical, we did not notice mosquitoes. Wooden floors, when people walked in the room above us, our chandelier on the ceiling wavered, not perfect soundproofing. The hotel is on a hill, walking up the hill from the station with a suitcase can be difficult if a taxi strike. Cafes, restaurants, supermarkets are located at the bottom of the hill. Nonetheless, I think it is good value for the price, if one accepts some disadvantages which were not critical for us. If coming to Arcachon next time in spring/beginning of summer when it is not yet so hot, we will stay in this hotel again.

  : Building has an impressive vintage exterior look. Also lobby of the hotel looks really beautiful. Location is also pretty nice very close to main attractions especially a big park just next to it. Personal is friendly and helpful.
  : You pay that price for living in century old villa. Inside your apartment many things that are just normal to have in an average hotel are missing. For example hair-drier, air-conditioning, you only receive 1 toilet paper per stay and no extra garbage begs (room cleaning is not included in standard price, also you are supposed to throw away your garbage). I find it strange that they expect you to sort garbage when they provide only 1 small garbage bin in the room and no garbage begs. I personally like places to stay with renovated good looking bathroom&restroom. I will not stay there again but since most other reviewer are liking place a lot. Maybe it is exactly what you need. So give a try.
