  : When we arrived the air conditioning was not operational, however this was not advised to us until later when we queried why the room was so warm. The staff gave us repeated assurances that it would be rectified but none of these were fulfilled. As a result, we had to leave and go to an alternative hotel. When trying to get information from the staff, they were quite unhelpful and offered no apology for the problem. The weather outside was very hot, and we had previously been traveling in a camper van, so the air conditioning was a big requirement for us.We could understand that there would be a technical failure which cannot be fixed immediately, however as a guest we have a right to take out business elsewhere if the problem is not resolved, and would expect a better attitude from the hotel under these circumstances, and to receive more accurate feedback information about when the problem may be fixed.
