  : The location was breathtaking!
  : The meals and dining service did not live up to what we were receiving during the rest of our Portugal trip. The coffee was good and strong one day and like water the next. The quality of the food during our three days was very inconsistant. When bringing us a dish we did not order the waiter ignored us when we mentioned it.

  : Nice place to stay, well maintained, nice swinging pools and magnificent views. Staff very helpful and 24 hours reception available. Room was nice with excellent views and balcony.
  : There was not really a bar available, it was located in sight the dining room.

  : The room was very nice, fantastic views lovely balcony. The location gives beautiful views and the room made the very best of this. Breakfast was excellent. The staff were very helpful at reception and parking for the motorbike was good . Dinner on our first night in the restaurant at the top( where the bar is ) was very good
  : The bed has a mattress cover that is not comfortable. It is plasticky and makes a noise when you move in bed . The bar area is not a comfortable place to sit. A bit like being in an airport lounge and when you want to relax with a drink you cant make the most of the beautiful view from a dark corner at the back of the restaurant. We were there on a wet day so it was not possible to sit outside. The meal we had on our second night was not good. Our waiter was pleasant but not very efficient , the food took a long time to arrive; the starter was served on cold plates so wasnt very warm and our main courses not very pleasant. We both had crepes with prawns to start and I then had a risotto with prawns and coriander mayonnaise. This was not nice, the rice was a solid lump with a skin on top, the prawns overcooked and chewy and no flavour of coriander in the mayonnaise . I left most of it, the waiter commented that I wasnt hungry, but actually it was just badly done. My husband had cod fish cakes, this was served on another risotto type dish which being damp make what should be a crisp coating into something chewy.
