: Owner was very friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable. Food was very good. They did our wash for 7 euros. It is located 5 k from Arza but owner promptly picked us up and took us back in the the AM. Out in the country... very peaceful

: A beautiful country inn about 5 km from the Camino. Its in a small, lovely village. Lovely countrified room and common areas full of tradition and character. The owner is very friendly, who also prepares dinner and breakfast and takes his cooking very seriously. We didnt have dinner, but we had a small, simple delicious breakfast. Believe it or not, we had never had toast that tasted as good as his. He said it was a secret recipe.
: For people on the Camino, the location is not the most convenient. But its such a beautiful place. If you have a car or are willing to take a taxi from Arzua, its worth staying at. The restaurant price seems high to me, but the owner really does seem to be a good cook. We felt that 8 bucks each for a pretty small breakfast was a little steep. But what we had was delicious, so perhaps it was worth it. Wed definitely be happy to stay there again.

: This house is aesthetically pleasing. It is in a very quiet, rural, area. The room was relatively large with a small porch. Convenient parking inside the gated yard.
: The owner left us with a bitter feeling, trying to make small monetary gains where you don't expect it. For 5 euro per person you get a breakfast that consists of coffee and two large slices bread, or toast and jam. A scrambled egg (1 egg) will cost you an additional 2 euro. That is exactly double the price of the same breakfast in a coffee shop in Arza and you'll probably get much better coffee. At check-out we were surprised to learn that we are going to be charged for a bottle of water which we never asked for, or took from the property. As it turned out, the cleaning lady saw a water bottle in our room that matches the brand used by the property. We had to show the owner the remainder of the six-pack of bottles we bought at the supermarket, which was still in our car trunk, hopefully to convince him that we didn't need to steal any water bottle from him. It all adds up to a few euros but left us with bad feeling about the way this place is run. The room was also bitterly cold on the first night, only to find out (on the second night) that the central heating could properly heat the room only if the host would have cared about it. I would not come here without a car, because then you don't have any choices about buying food.

: What a lovely place, and our host went out of his way to help us. The house is 5km out of Arzua, but he shuttles everybody without any extra charge.The food was so good. Best Spanish toast ever!!
