  : The booking company sent us the directions to the wrong property which was over an hour away from our booking. Adding nearly 3 hours to our journey! When we arrived there were no sheets towels or even toilet roll! at 8pm this was not a good start! The ladies who ran the property were very helpful and kind. It was not their fault that the directions were wrong or that our messages did not get through. The booking via booking.com went through another German agency and then the Italian agency! Our phone number was wrongly copied, we were given the instructions to another place miles away and had no means of contacting any of the agents. I tried emailing the German company loads of times and got no response. The property was idyllic, but had no air con and it was about 40 every day, but the location and the swimming pool made up for that! after a bad start the local agency could not have been more helpful. But I was very frustrated by the lack of any information to talk to a real person once we were in Italy.I presume this was a glitch between Booking.com and the German company.
