  : It was very spacious and every room had a balcony which was amazing. The hosts were very helpful and got us a baby cot when we needed one. The location is perfect to walk into Plaka and reach anywhere within 10 mins. Also the Metro is just a 2 min walk
  : The neighborhood is a little noisy at night as it is located close to a major street - but that wasnt a very big deal unless you sleep with the windows open

  : The apartment was very spacious and it can easily accommodate 3-6 people. The kitchen is quite big and so is the master bathroom. The shower in the main bathroom, as well as the half bathrooms, are renovated. The biggest advantage is its location - walking distance from Acropolis, and that says it all. Very good value for money (considering the location and the size of the apartment).The host was very friendly and helpful and on arrival, we found in the fridge a package with breakfast (bread, butter and jam) which was a very nice surprise.The wifi was excellent in the apartment.Overall, a very nice stay and it is definitely recommended.
  : There are some minor issues that need to be fixed.Needs mirrors in the bedrooms. The A/C in the living room was modern and new but in the 2 bedrooms, the A/C were very old (and in fact, one of them was not working). The kitchen, radiators, cupboards, and closets in the bedroom are very old and they were not replaced (looks like some parts of the apartment were renovated and some not).

  : The only decent thing was the location. Even then, there is a bar across the street that thumped music all night. I woke up twice with a migraine. He also insisted that we leave our property at the hotel while he and someone else was there cleaning. My husband's work ID was in his backpack. His ID is now missing.. which is concerning because it is property of the US Federal Government.We did not hide the fact that we had children. We paid for 5 people to be in the property (it shows up as x5 on the booking page) but he then requested MORE €! However, I paid through PayPal, and told them how I was extorted, and they granted me a refund. Also, why would we ever complain about the hygiene of the property when he was extorting us and yelled at me for leaving the key in the door? Come on.
  : The owner wrote me a threatening message after I posted my review with no comments, so I decided to add comments.1. The owner decided to wait until the DAY I ARRIVED to tell me that we needed to give them an extra 60€ because the ages of my kids didn't populate correctly. (All under 12.) He was very threatening about it at the time as well. (He literally said please do this today or I will contact the authorities.) So, here we are in a foreign country, have already paid and cannot get a cancelation due to no refund policy, and if we don't pay extra, they will have us arrested.2. He NEVER ONCE told us not to leave the second key in the door when we left. This is not common knowledge. We live in Germany and have traveled to over 25 countries, and this has never happened. My husband left the key in the door when we left and it caused us to not be able to unlock the door. We called the owner and he yelled at us and basically called me a liar (he asked me if I was going to stay at the property for a locksmith, I said yes.. and he asked me "ARE YOU SURE?!" Extremely RUDE.) We were also charged for this as well.3. He, for some reason, wanted my passport number. I don't believe this is standard, because we asked other Americans in Athens, and they said it didn't happen to them.4. The wifi barely worked and the Netflix was logged out. We used our own and it wouldn't stream movies, at all.5. The shower is broken.6. They don't use the same comforters, likely due to summer, but it doesn't look like the photos. There is a hole in the wall in the back room.7. There was a bag of diapers in one of the closets that was filled with spiders, so we didn't hang up our clothes.8. My 11 year old and 8 year old are complaining of bug bites and hurt backs.I have NO IDEA why this place is rated so high. Likely the location, but even then, it's extremely loud.
