  : I don’t even know where to begin. This was one of the WORST experiences I have ever had at a hotel in my life. 1. First, I was told when I tried to check in at 7:00pm that my room was not ready, it needed cleaned and ready. Why was my room not already cleaned? Check in was at 4:00pm. I had booked a week in advance. I was told it would be a 10-minute wait, it ended up being a 45-minute wait. When I finally got into my room it smelled like alcohol, mildew and smoke. I asked for a non-smoking room. The manager kept giving the excuse we are short staffed, and remodeling. Okay, so short staffed it took that long, and my room was not cleaned already? 2. I finally am able to get into my room. After a long day of horse showing and traveling all I wanted to do was lay down, sleep, and maybe order a pizza and take a shower. I get into the shower there is 0 towels. No washcloths, no floor towel nothing. So now I had to get dressed again and go to the front desk to ask for towels. There was no phone in the room to be able to call and ask for towels. When I get up front, the manager made me walk in the back with him to where housekeeping was and get the towels myself. Did not know I worked there. 3. There is NO breakfast. It says breakfast included. I go down to get breakfast and it consisted of apple juice, stale muffins, and cereal. The coffee was also being given in plastic cups. That is a good way for someone to get burned. 4. I was told on this website there was no charge for my dog. He is also a service dog. They tried to tell me that there would be a $50 charge for him, and then asked me what my medical condition was, and that I looked too young to need a service dog. This was unprofessional and inappropriate. I will NEVER stay here again. This was one of the worst stays at a Days Inn I have ever had. I would of had a better stay in my horse trailer.
