  : Great location, street parking very close by (just outside city walls, around 50m walk away you can park for 24 hours for around 1 euro). There is more expensive parking even closer. Nice old building
  : There were no towels in our room. When we checked we didn't notice and just headed out to see the sights, but when we got back, hot and sticky and wanting to get cleaned up before going out to dinner, it became obvious that we couldn't. And by then there was no one on reception, just a phone number to call. Terrible service in the first place, and a terrible arrangement that there was literally no one on site to sort it out. We were short of time so ended up just going out to dinner in our sweaty state rather than waiting for some bod to come and resolve things. Since it was a hot night, we would have liked to have a quick shower before bed too... but obviously couldn't. I went down to reception to sort it out first thing in the morning, and the girl on the desk was like, 'Oh, did you need towels? Do you still want them?' then she disappeared and I could hear her and another lady laughing about it. Absolutely disgraceful on top of what had happened. I would have demanded some money off if my Spanish had been better. The breakfast room is tiny, so you have to book a particular sitting in advance - 30 minutes apart. Since we had checked in quite late, we had to wait until 9.30 to have breakfast. Again, very frustrating. Breakfast itself was OK. No air con - given that Avila reached 37C on the day we were there, we could have done with it.

  : Room was cramped with no view or privacy.The breakfast was absolutely appalling. It was buffet style but without a buffet. No juice, bread cheese or ham left out. No hot food - eggs , bacon etc. Bread provided was stale and hard. Very poor- needs a re-think.

  : Great little hotel in the walled town of Avila. Great room with lots of space and a very good bathroom. Found parking (nearly free) just outside the walls, so three minutes walk. Hotel was near everything tourists need.
  : Beds were not great. No desk to sit at and breakfast was basic (but all we needed).

  : The box room we were in was stifling, with only a small fan we paid for a standard room , the room we were given for the money we paid was disgusting , will not be recomnding this hotel .
