  : While we initially enjoyed our stay at the vila and even extended it for one night, the vila unfortunately seems to have a problem with infestation. During our stay we all got some insect bites and some of us had some skin itchiness issues; however, we did not pay a special attention to it as the place was clean, it is a summer time and skin irritation may also be a result of the dry skin which I often deal with when swimming in a pool. However, on our last day/way home we all started noticing a lot of itching bites that had a distinctive pattern. Two children also developed a more severe reaction and had to see a doctor/dermatologist who explained that based on the shape and pattern of the bites these are bad bug bites. We informed the property but they did not take it seriously and just dismissed it by saying that the house was cleaned before our arrival (which it was), that these are probably flea bites and that this is normal during the summer time. While at first it looked like a dream vacation for us (great location, nice villa with a clean pool) at the end it turned into a nightmare as now we are incurring significant costs and spending a lot of time trying remediate this issue at home (as bites continues to appear so we probably brought bed bugs home), kids were not able to attend their scheduled summer programs as they are covered in bites (see pictures) etc. And lastly, the property owners response/reaction was really disappointing (although that the lady that greeted us upon arrival was really). I generally do not write a lot of reviews but I wanted to share this with others so they are aware of the issue and hopefully also the owners will take the issue more seriously and remediate it.
