  : The view was okay. My room was next to a space where the cleaners put their equipment/trolleys and that was noisy, especially in the morning
  : We ordered food in the terrace restaurant and it was served lukewarm. Disappointing as it was not cheap.

  : The location is absolutely gorgeous!!!Awesome views all around.Stunning heritage property but doesn't feel like it's properly managed and looked after.Very nice and friendly cleaning ladies and one waiter in the cafe.
  : The standard of rooms , restaurant and cafe doesn't match 4 star rating.Furniture is a bit run down and doesn't feel like any professional interior design has been applied.No eye for beauty, no attention to details.Breakfast buffet is not really generous and displayed in a very average way and no warm dishes, you have to order from the menu and they bring very small portions.Our omlettes were the smallest we have ever seen and the portion of vegetables was literally one table spoon and even when we asked for more next morning we still got the same.In the cafe when we ordered a fruit salad we got few pathetic pieces of fruits which looked like leftovers from breakfast.Shocking.

  : It is breathtaking - the property is historic, the pathway around the front fortifications is lovely, and it commands the town and the sea
  : My only complaint is the noise level. I made reservations many months in advanced, but was placed in the very first room (101) off the lobby corridor - which was about the worst place in an otherwise magnificent and expansive building. It is a stone and marble and tile structure, so the sound and crowd noise from hikers and tour groups was at times overwhelming. The hotel was full so there were no other room options. If I were ever to stay again, I would insist on a room at the end of the corridor or on an upper floor. So disappointed - I had scheduled and was looking forward to this stay for nearly a year.

  : Stunning views, beautiful setting and excellent service. Easy to walk into the town. Tranquil environment with very attentive staff.Free parking was a bonus.
  : Breakfast was included automatically in the price. I would have preferred it to be optional.Small criticism in an otherwise amazing stay.

  : Its location was perfect walking around the fortification walls provided excellent view of the ocean and the sunset.
  : The pool was not open in May. After walking 20+ km on a warm, sunny day, I was so looking forward to a swim.
