  : Such lovely, helpful people made us feel very welcome. Nice warm room and comfortable bed. Lots of extras in the room including a Bakewell Tart!

  : Lovely friendly pub with great staff and super location with free parking .Lots of options in the tea/coffee facilties in the room with little extras like mini bakewell tart and chocolates in a glass jar......we stayed for 1 night to visit chatsworth house christmas markets.....we booked an evening meal which was lovely.
  : As lovely as the room was it seemed as though they were in the middle of being refurbished .lovely new white tiles and shower (minus the seal strip along the bottom of the shower screen) .....but old pink bath/loo suite.....

  : The staff were helpful and friendly. Very accommodating. The window in our room had been smashed in a recent storm. The staff were apologetic and we were offered a free breakfast and some drinks on the house.
  : Unfortunately, the food was very disappointing. We both ordered the linguine but couldn't eat it. It was one of the worst meals I've been served. It wasn't linguine, I think it was spaghetti, but it was chopped up into inch-long pieces. It tasted like badly flavoured noodles from a Chinese takeaway. It was so strange. We both had garlic bread, which didn't have any garlic on, it just tasted like butter, and my husband added chicken to his dish, which he described as tasting burnt. The waitress took 20% off the bill after we complained, but it was pretty awful for two main courses, costing 17.50 and 20.50. We decided not to have breakfast the following day, despite it being offered free of charge. We also didn't receive any drinks on the house. We then struggled to get to sleep until late as there was what sounded like an extractor fan outside our room. It was very loud.
