  : The house was cosy and comfortable. It had a real Scottish feel to it with the tartan rug, cushions and even coasters! Loved the paintings too!

  : Local hiking was not as easy as we had hoped - we wanted to leave the car behind. We did sometimes, but had to drive to walk on some days.

  : Great location. Pretty gardens but without any seating. Nice views of the loch from the beach.
  : On arrival, the apartment was dark and depressing, and cluttered, with a musty smell. It was gritty underfoot, as the floors had not been swept properly and rugs had not been moved. The loo was leaking when we arrived (took 2 attempts to fix it), and the washing machine smelt bad and had black mould in it. We couldn't use it and were staying for 6 nights and had washing to do - it was the main reason I picked this place. The fridge and bath both needed a wipe before use. Hubby lost his glasses under the sofa and warned me not to look there. There clearly had not been a pre-stay check of the apartment. There are no views as it overlooks the carpark and the outdoor seating provided in the courtyard was old and broken. The outdoor gardens are pretty but as there is no seating it is limiting. This was the 3rd stay of our Scotland trip and the only one that disappointed us. It was our wedding anniversary and meant to be a treat. It was so bad we stayed elsewhere for most of our stay, so we could enjoy ourselves and do our washing.

  : Good location for us. Big enough for the 3 of us. Stunning grounds and we found a secret beach next to the loch which was exciting for our young son!
  : Not much spare cupboard space for food etc.

  : The apartment is in a fantastic, peaceful location and has everything you need for your stay. It was clean and well equipped. Plenty of parking available. Outside seating is a bonus if you are lucky enough to get some good weather. We were going to a wedding in The Cruinn and it was only a five minute walk so it was very handy.
