  : We got a free bottle of water when checking in.
  : We arrived by car, gave that car to the valet; went to reception to check-in; then (because our room wasn't ready yet) went to explore town - our bags were still in the hotel. After an hour or so I received an e-mail that they were overbooked and needed to change us to a nearby hotel. They would be paying for the expenses, but according to that website; the hotel we were put in has rates half that of The Watermark AND the room was much smaller with NO view. We also then needed to pick our bags up at The Watermark to transport ourselves. So if you don't mind being put in another hotel even when already checked-in and you want to stay in a cheaper hotel; this is your go-to place!

  : Very clean and very comfortable. The staff were great and Bill showed us around the town. Super nice guy and very informative.

  : At check-in I was informed my vehicle was too large for the private garage and was told by valet to park curbside near the hotel. At 2-am, my room was phoned by the front desk. They inquired if I owned the vehicle and advised it needed to be moved or it would be towed. I proceeded to the front desk, they then informed me that it would be towed because the spot was reserved for valet (public street). Noticed that it was the same valet personnel who told me to park there from earlier working the booth, but they could not recall the encounter. To cut it short, I just asked the desk how much money did they want for me to park there. They said $30, I charged it to my room, vehicle never moved, I went back to sleep. Later learned it’s a third party valet service. The whole thing felt like a shakedown, very strange for $30.

  : nice old house "Grand Hotel" style, clean and big room; walking distance to capitol;
  : absolutely avoid the totally overpriced valet parking; park next to the hotel on the parking lot, much cheaper and easier.area in the night a bit deserted
