  : The greatest advantage of Tom's Hotel is its location - in the center of the gay Berlin - Schoneberg. There are several gay pubs, restaurants, shops and a bookshop along the Fuggerstrae. Still, it's pretty quiet there. At least that was the case during my stay in May. And I must say that Amir was very nice, although he laughed at my e-mail request for early check-in.
  : I don't have too many positive impressions from staying in my room. It looks a bit worn out and definitely needs a refresh. The pillows are more air-filled than anything else. I needed two of them to sleep comfortably. WiFi in the room is very weak and disconnects every 15 minutes. There wasn't even the cheapest shower gel in the bathroom. Hot water runs in the shower for 10 minutes. Later it's just cool. You have to wait about 20 minutes for the hot water to start running again. I guess the reason for that is an old-fashioned boiler The worst thing was that during the three days of my stay no one cleaned the room or even changed the towels. Nothing helped hanging the sign ('Please tidy up my room') on the door handle. I don't know for what purpose such signs are in the room?

  : Great location. Clean room and nice bathroom.
  : The bed was not at all acceptable. It was a series of foam pieces that were incomplete and completely saggy. We stayed out late because we didnt want to come back to a bed that we couldnt get a whole night sleep in. We spoke to reception about it and they didnt seem to care. The pillows where barely thicker than the pillow case. After three days they found us another pillow that was a little better. But the mattress was horrible.
