  : We attended a wedding here, so the location was good for us. Breakfast was good, with plenty of coffee and orange juice, lady on breakfast was very friendly.
  : Lady was a bit strange/rude, very abrupt, she had a routine and we were not allowed to interrupt this with questions. Lady emailed us before but I didn't get it, so when we arrived she had changed our room and it was without breakfast. We said this wasn't acceptable and she changed back, we were in the property alone, no other guests at all. The property was extremely dated and very tired. The cleanliness was not the best.

  : You only get breakfast at this bed-and-breakfast if you stay in the main building. They were out of rooms at the main house, so I stayed in a bedroom in one of the guest houses. It's a very different experience.
  : It's the historic Rosemont Estate...but if you're in one of the outbuildings, you're not encouraged to see it, beyond for check-in. It's like being in the hold of a cruise ship. The outbuildings are not updated--much more like camping. They look awful--outside paint not updated. Kitchen is old white stained formica. Paint is contractor beige. Beds feel like your second-cousin's basement bedroom. There were big black ants crawling on everything. I kept expecting the theme music from psycho. I imagine this is my fault, but I went there to write, and I pictured cozy spots and tea, with a lovely breakfast, and what I got was dirty dishes in the cabinet in an old kitchen with a do-it-yourself coffee pot featuring Maxwell House. I don't know what was on my bedspread, and I don't want to think about it. If you're in an out-building, you don't get breakfast or complimentary snacks or "historic elegance." You definitely do not get a pillow-top mattress. There was nowhere to sit in my room, and the main room was filled with people playing a board game--which was truly lovely for them. I'd much rather pay for a place with some charm than stay in a chain hotel, but man. There wasn't much charm. It's great, I'm sure, if you're a big family looking for a place with some room, but don't expect cute curtains and historic fixtures. If you're only renting one room, look elsewhere.

  : I was not told there is a breakfast, so I ate in town at the recommendation of the owner. On the other hand, she took me directly to my unit, which is difficult to locate Also, a container in which to place (used) keys would be help when no one is in the office.havbe
  : Needs bigger and better lit signage through the property

  : Beautiful property overall. Quaint smaller guest houses with lots of history. Would Defiantly stay here again.
  : We stayed in the Custer House. The Bed could be updated, a bit saggy. The Exterior paint is in need of updating it's currently chipping. Does not really bother us that much but says a lot.

  : The main house is beautiful and very cottage -like. the outdoor feel and woods were gorgeous. When we came out of our room/guest house, it was like we were camping, which I love.
  : Our room had no towels. We came back from a family event at midnight and I did not believe it was appropriate to call the lady - wake her up - to drive to our room and give us towels. Especially when they should have been there. There were bugs in the room. The bed was squeaky so every time my husband or I rolled over it woke us up.

  : A fabulous location with expansive grounds and a luxurious feel to the decor. We loved sitting out on the portico and watching the groundhogs, deer and fireflies as the dusk descended. The room was comfortable (although the bed was very high - almost too high for me to get into!) and the place was very clean throughout. We were unfortunately a bit delayed getting to Rosemont, after the time that the reception desk staff goes home, which meant that the manager had to wait on especially for us because all the rest of the staff were involved in a wedding reception elsewhere on site. The manager could not have been more welcoming and helpful and told us to make sure to contact her if we needed anything at all. We didn't see any other staff until the morning, and in fact had the place entirely to ourselves as there were no other guests that night! The main emphasis for Rosemont is as a wedding venue - that was obvious from the decor and general ambiance. I can see that it would be a beautiful setting for a wedding.
  : It is expensive - we treated ourselves as an early anniversary gift but probably wouldn't have stayed there for a normal overnight stop. Unfortunately there is no evening meal option, and Berryville doesn't have a lot to offer. We ended up getting a Greek (!) takeaway from the town and taking it back to Rosemont and eating it sitting on the huge portico, just my husband and I as there were no staff or anyone else around. The bathroom was small in our room, disappointingly.

  : We expected to be in the main house with breakfast included. How were we to know that a guest house was not the main house? Breakfast was not included, the photo of the room did not look like our room, and we were certainly more than 20 minutes from our destination. We wont be using Booking.com again!
