The Golden Sands B&B

Wonderful
Traveller Type: Family with Young Children
: Perfectly located away from main roads and traffic noise yet moments away from trams and buses. Moments from the Promenade and only 15mins walk from the centre. Cleanliness could not be faulted.

: This is the best guesthouse I have ever stayed in Blackpool and one of the best I've stayed anywhere (and I am a seasoned traveller). The room was exceptionally comfortable and well equipped. The bed had a top quality mattress and pillows. There was a comfy chair, a wardrobe with lots of hangers, a shelf beside the bed and a lamp. It was nice and warm, because the radiator stayed on for a decent number of hours and there was also a heated towel rail in the bathroom. All of these things are rare in this price band, especially in a single room. The wi-fi was excellent. Breakfast was available, though I chose not to have it myself as I don't like eating at that time of the morning. The lady in charge was very friendly and helpful. The Golden Sands is the best type of traditional B&B.
: I can't fault the guesthouse itself on anything. The location may be too far out of the centre for some people.
