  : The room was large, with comfortable bed The food was really good and staff friendly and helpful.
  : The shower needed attention. Water didn't drain properly and base of shower had previously had a bath mat stuck to it which had been removed and left a dirty looking surface. Some mould around shower tiles.

  : Lovely, fun, welcoming and friendly staff. Gorgeous little cosy traditional pub feel, relaxed atmosphere, comfy bed and well maintained rooms and facilities. Clean and fresh. Good value for accommodation.
  : The food was disappointing, despite a great sounding menu. There were lots of dishes unavailable to order, and the ones we did have were underwhelming and inedible at times. The pork belly was all fat, and the medium rare steak was chewy, dry, and overdone. The breakfast muffins for the eggs benedict were hard and unappealing. Overall, we were disappointed with the food, especially as everything else was so fantastic - especially the staff. We did enjoy the full English breakfasts and the pancakes with bacon. We also hoped to use the Vintage Inns discount code. However, we found the terms and conditions extremely complicated and, in the end, were unable to use them. We felt we spent a lot of money on food and drinks over the course of the weekend(around 150 per couple - and there were 8 of us staying) so it was disappointing to have missed out on this offer, especially as many of our meals were so disappointing.

  : Great pub type accommodation with good food and warm clean rooms
  : We booked 2 rooms, one twin and one double bit when we arrived, there was only 2 double rooms and the staff said the beds couldnt be changed. I even made a note in their special requests section to make sure we also had a twin room but this wasnt done. My parents are disabled and have to sleep separately. The hotel blames Booking.com and Booking.com blames the hotel!

  : Shower floor though cleaned had grit from perhaps sticky mat that had been used on previous occasion. Let down the entire room.
