  : I made a reservation through Booking.com for a specified price. Apparently there was a "glitch" with the hotel's IT system, and it was apparently an inaccurate price. I realized when making the reservation that the price was especially low, but thought that there was a special promotion happening or that they were trying to garner alumni business. Well, even though I already had paid for the room and even had received the confirmation, the hotel reached out to me the next day and refused to honor the agreed-upon price. They offered me a "discounted" price, and even lowered it twice, but their "final price" was still much higher than price at which I booked. Furthermore, the emails that I received from the manager were rude, stating that I "obviously" should have known it was not an accurate price, and therefore I "obviously" should not have booked the room. Isn't low and competitive pricing for hotel rooms, along with occasional "special deals," the reason sites like Booking.com even exist? In the end, the manager refused to honor the reservation for the booked price, and thus, canceled my reservation. As a result, I will never book with this hotel again, and I encourage others not to book there as well. If they can cancel my reservation because I "obviously" should have known that the price listed wasn't the "real" price, then they can cancel any reservation for any reason. That certainly is not a comforting thought. As a Penn State graduate, I have many friends, family members and acquaintances who regularly visit State College and who will probably take my experience into consideration when making their reservations in the future. All I can say is that the manager is "obviously" not familiar with the basics of customer service.

  : Beautiful views, very clean, friendly staff, comfortable and soft beds and pillows, nice bathroom and shower
  : The only complaint that I have is the internet wouldn’t work for the tv so we couldn’t watch the streaming services

  : This hotel was very clean, well furnished, and decorated. We loved the desk clerk, Jamie, who was friendly and extremely helpful in providing information about the area and PSU. He also provided us with a coupon to dine at their restaurant, The View Restaurant and Bar. Also, they had the very best continental breakfast I have ever seen. Real bacon, sausage, eggs, waffles, french toast, potatoes with peppers and onions, cut fresh fruit, cooked oat meal, yogurt, muffins, and k-cup coffee! It was exceptional!!! We will definitely stay here every time we visit our son at Penn State!!
  : The air conditioner was very loud and made a weird noise that made sleeping difficult. We didn't complain about it though because everything else was so great!
