  : Location is perfect. Terrace with a view over the roof tops is unique. A corner of the terrace is covered and partially closed to offer a nice seating place for comfortable conversations with drinks and snacks.

  : Perfect location for exploring Bologna. Many historical sights as well as restaurants, bars, shopping and the market are within walking distance. Emilio in reception is very helpful with maps and local information/recommendations. The elevator is ancient but very capable. The only issue was needing to drag luggage up 8 steps once you get off the elevator on the 4th floor in order to enter the rooms of Casa Faccioli. The entry door is thick steel that opens when you enter the code given by Massimo on the day of arrival. There was an additional code to enter the building on the ground floor. We felt very secure in the building. Our room was spacious and the bathroom well equipped. The AC split unit worked very well. Instructions for use were easy to understand and in an instruction booklet for the AC and emergency numbers, taxi etc is on the desk behind the coffee cups. Italy isn't big on full English or American breakfasts, but the Ca' Pelletti around the corner from Casa Faccioli does have excellent coffee, cornettos, and a "Turista" breakfast that includes scrambled eggs, ham, tomatoes, fruit, toast (pane con burro), and a coffee of your choice. It's a lot! If you choose breakfast through Casa Faccioli it will be 10 euros per person/per day.
  : Pillows were flat and hard (common in Italy but just not very comfortable) a personal opinion. The housecleaning staff came everyday between 10:30-2:30 and cleaned well, but only gave us clean towels once...when we asked for them, an important detail to know!
