  : I booked with a 3rd party app (booking.com) but it didn’t offer the government rate. At check in I asked for the government rate as I was moving on orders with the military with my family. The desk agent first said the rate wasn’t available and only a limited number of government rate rooms were available. After speaking to the manager she said to cancel the reservation on booking.com and rebook on the Hilton website. I tried to cancel on booking.com and they said it requires the property to approve to not charge a $200+ cancellation fee. I repeatedly checked with the manager who said she never got the emails from booking.com. So now I will have to pay over $50 dollars a day x 5 days out of pocket for this move because the manager could not or would not assist getting the government rate. At a minimum they need to address why they are having communication breakdowns with 3rd party booking sites. That is just basic management.

  : When we got there they tried to charge extra fees that were not mentioned no where in the policies or agreements . Pool was closed when I called two days prior to make sure everything was ok and they said my booking and everything in the hotel was good . I traveled 3 hours with my two daughters and husband and had to wait 2 hrs to get In Contact with a customer service representative so they can tell the hotel to give me a refund . Now I have to wait 7-12 business days for a refund and at the moment where was I supposed to stay ???!!! No consideration. I can’t tell my kids we’re going on a mini vacation with a pool in the hotel and when we got there nothing . So thank got we found Red Roof inn and there were convenient for the time being and had a pool for just $100 a night for 2 queen beds room .

  : I thought the decor was warm and welcoming. The morning staff was very friendly and engaging. There have been only one person at night and she was quite busy so there wasn’t a lot of dialogue
  : It would be nice to have a few more healthy breakfast options, especially for those who are gluten-free
