  : It was close to town and the Flatirons so getting to places was convenient. The water pressure in the shower was decent. Staff was friendly and helpful.
  : The parking situation is ridiculous; it’s narrow and difficult to maneuver - and our vehicle is not large. The bed was very, very uncomfortable.

  : Loved the uniqueness of the property…rooms, fire pit and sitting space. Loved the cute details in the room and the very nice clean, crisp sheets on the bed. The lobby bar and snacks were great!!
  : I get the ruggedness theme so it wasn’t too big of a deal, but the carpet seemed kind of dingy for the price we paid. The bathroom too could use some upgrading. Didn’t like that the hot tub wasn’t working.

  : We ended up at Basecamp Hotel Boulder because of a medical emergency, which left us without a car. We moved there from another hotel because of location. The walkable distance to Pearl Street from Basecamp and to the nearby intersection where there is a full handful of different excellent places to eat proved the wisdom of our switch. We feared it might prove too funky (particularly to a couple in our 70s) but it wasn't at all. The vibe is good. The room is not large, but it was very clean and comfortable, cute, thoughtful, personal and functional. The toilet and shower room - the sink is outside- was a little narrow, but not problemmatic. The ice chest instead of a refrigerator was unusual, but clever and worked for us. Thete was some socializing at nights, but it never got loud and ended at 11. Finally, the staff we dealt with were without exception all wonderful - bright, engaged, pleasant, helpful and capable. We encounteted a family emergency during our stay. Jonathan, who is outfront most and with whom we dealt with most, in particular was responsive, helpful and engaged. I think that the company should give him a big handful of cash in recognition of his effort and value.
  : There was a slow leak related to the toilet in our room, that I suspect afflicts the toilets in other rooms as well, that needs to be resolved right away. The lighting on the room was generally very good, except that the desk could have used a light that shone down and illuminated whatever you.might be working on, such as your laptop or papers.

  : We liked the location, the shared amenities seemed to be popular, I appreciate the look they were going for. Staff was nice.
  : We weren’t aware from the listing that it was a refurbished motel, with the local homeless population being so high I wish they had more barriers to entry. The room was pretty musty from the mini split air conditioner and carpet that smells like dirty socks.
