  : Building needs some updating perhaps to return it to its previous splendour ( carpets , painting, shutters etc). The aircon ' works' but inly manages to reduce the summer heat by 2 or 3 C

  : Great location. Hotel had character. Beautiful new bathroom. The room had a fridge and air conditioning.
  : Bedroom a long way from the lift but this was a very minor point. If we stayed again I would ask for one nearer the lift.

  : The location is very good right in the centre of Bourg-en-Bresse. The rooms were a good size and comfortable. We ate in the restaurant twice, the food is very good and a reasonable price for the quality.
  : The exit from the parking garage was frequently closed, this required the receptionist to leave his station to open the door. I would suggest that remote opening would be much easier, or that users of the garage have some method of opening the door. (Not knowing if the door was open or closed often meant a walk to the garage, and back to reception, and back to the garage was required, it was raining heavily during most of our stay.)

  : The hotel is centrally located in the town with attractive landscaping and buildings in the surrounding area. Restaurants are also in this area.
  : On our arrival inBourg en Bresse we found many of the towns streets were closed due to a street market. We drove around for what seemed a long time trying to access the hotel. The young man, on reception, was unfriendly, almost surly. The corridor to the room we were given was long, dark and smelt musty. A bad start. Our room was furnished mainly with old furniture, also smelt musty and the carpet, probably clean, but stained in parts. The view from the window was of a dirty and derelict looking building although it was occupied. Between the 2 buildings was circa 8 metres. The bathroom is modern, but tiny, the shower door opening approx. 50cms. It was only possible to enter and exit sideways. The toilet is in a separate room and the distance between it and the wall in front absolutely minimal. A tall/ more corpulent persons knees would bang on the wall! We didnt have breakfast as it is served in the bar.
