  : Smithy cottage is a lovely quaint cottage and is perfect for a couple. It was warm and comfortable with a well appointed kitchen, spacious bedroom and modern bathroom. There was a lovely welcome basket with local produce which was much appreciated. The host has also provided a detailed folder of information covering most queries a guest might have. The area around Bradwell is stunning and we would recommend a visit to Castleton with it's collection of mines. We really enjoyed our stay at Smithy cottage and would definitely stay again
  : The only awkward bit was navigating the steep and narrow road leading to the cottage. However, the host gave us detailed instructions on how best to approach the cottage in order to easily access the parking space in front.
