  : Location was lovely and quiet, the food was superb and the room was comfortable and quiet and the staff were very friendly and accommodating, we were running late getting to the hotel and they advised on what to do if we do arrive late. I would say the hotel was very good overall.
  : Our bathroom had cobwebs around the lights and there was some black mould on the silicon finishes around the joints, the latter was something that my father also had in his room so appears to be an issue across the building. Not a deal breaker for me personally but I think this could do with looking at in the future.

  : The staff are really lovely, polite and helpful. I had issues with booking.com which made two bookings, was less than helpful and eventually cancelling both. Staff, particularly at the head office, managed to rebook my original booking without any further payment or stress. Great customer service. In future i will be booking direct.
  : Not so much didn’t like but could be considered, the building is old so the floors creaked…..a lot. The smallest movement made heaps of noise and whilst the weather is warm the room was quite hot with only a small window to help cool the room which unfortunately, i had to close at night due to the bugs attraction to light.

  : The rooms are a good size
  : The furniture is very shabby , the shower rail was rusty, the walls had scuff marks the headboards were shabby and covered in stains the doors, skirting boards etc were shabby , the floor was not level which fair enough it is an very old building but the dressing table wasn’t even so that was just ridiculous the toilet seat was broken , overall desperately in need of a massive upgrade .The staff were very rude when we arrived and told us to leave the bar because they were tired !!!fair enough it was late but they were not very polite and the man was crashing bottles around very noisily as if to let us know he was annoyed that we were still there !!!
