Quaint Florida Home with Dock on Suwannee River

  : I enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the river flow and the peacefulness
  : The dock over the river was tore down and there was a dead dog on a tree which was laying in the river and the stinch was unbearable.

  : The river is right in your back yard. It is a very peaceful place. Loads of animals. The bed was very comfortable and this facility was very clean
  : Perhaps it should be called Home on the Suwannee River. We went there to fish, off the dock. There isnt a usable dock. We did try fishing off the bank, with no success. We lost some expensive lures. I am glad we didnt bring our boat. Because of the docks condition.

  : The owner was easy to reach and very friendly. The place was quiet and restful (just what we wanted). The experience was all-around very nice. We would definitely stay there again. The front room had a beautiful view and a very homey and comfortable place to sit and dine overlooking the river. We went as a family with 2 teens and one of their friends. She was given the pull-out sofa to sleep on, but the nice thing was that it was the room with the view which also had french doors (opening to the interior living room) that could close so she had privacy while sleeping. There were plenty of towels and a lot of kitchen extras that I didn't expect. It was cozy and quaint just as I had hoped.
  : Dishes had to be washed by hand. Some of the pots and pans were pretty worn, but I have gone to many vacation rentals and that is pretty much the norm. Some of the blinds were difficult to open in the room with the view, but not a big deal.
