  : The room was clean, and the coffee was good. It was nice to have a fridge to put some of our property in for the night.
  : The location is not friendly to anyone who has any mobility issues. Granted that the building is a church, converted into a B&B, the rooms are on the ground floor. If you want to watch TV, read books or play games you've got to go up several stairs to the top of the building, which is something that my wife can't do. Since I couldn't watch TV with my wife, I decided to try to sit outside and enjoy the weather on the 2 random lawn chairs that the host set out in front of the building. A bench, or seating area or heck, even a garden with some privacy would have been much more preferred than sitting outside of the front on random lawn chairs like I would take to a soccer game at the local sports field. Entry into the lodging portion of the building is through the front doors of the church, then through a keypad-activated lock. This does not lock behind you, as I found out when I needed to get something from my car, and the other guest that was staying in the lodging had returned. Anyone could have come in through the "secured" entrance without having to use the keypad. The rooms do come with a key, and we kept our door locked, but to not have the entry secured through an automatic locking mechanism or keypads that lock behind you is a serious security concern that I have. The breakfast really was disappointing: well-scrambled eggs with some shredded cheese on top, pre-cooked sausage links, a parfait with fruit/granola and a pastry. We were really expecting something more than a dish my kids would have made with help from my wife. If you're going to go very simple with the breakfast, you should at least put some effort into one facet of the breakfast, like some fresh cut fruit or freshly squeezed OJ. I may have overlooked a lot of the things, but when I'm served a breakfast similar to what I got in the chow hall in the military, it hardly passes muster for a B&B experience.

  : I chose this b&b because it was close to the Ice Age Trail sections I wanted to hike. The place is so unique, a re-purposed church with a really homey feel. Homemade quilts all over the place, a full-sized canoe hanging over the dining table. Large open areas for meals and an upper level with TV and tables if you wanted to get on your computer. It's a short walk to just about anything downtown, because it's a small community!
  : No faults; I enjoyed it all, because I like things that are unique and interesting. The history of the church and learning about the family that now owns it, how they wanted to keep the building alive, was a big part of why I enjoyed my stay there. Denessa, the very welcoming woman who greets you and cooks for you is part of that family. This may not be the kind of place some people would like, but I found no faults with it at all.
