: This was a self catering cottage however on arrival a box of cakes, tea ,coffee and milk awaited us after our long 6 hour journey. We had a 1 year old with us and she really enjoyed playing in the snug with the teddies. The property was well maintained and very comfortable. Added bonus for us were the sheep in the opposite field and rabbits behind our property that we visited each morning with our granddaughter.
: What would have made this property a 10/10 would have been a travel cot and highchair. Even though we took our own it would have been less to pack. Although a stair gate upstairs was put in for us which helped.

: Very peaceful cottage /village - need car to take in views and many areas to visit... walks to local pub, shop and church ..host was very kind and helpful and welcoming on arrival leaving tea and biscuits, rooms clean and tidy .
: Not to happy no garden,only sitting area at the front plus washing line out front - but we didn't need to do any washing ,although have all facility's to do so if needed .

: Lovely location with parking in friendly village in between Bude & Widemouth Bay (5 mins by car to either beach).Lovely host - Jenny, left us a few essentials for our arrival (tea, coffee etc) & some cup cakes made locally. Lovely little extras like a large airfryer, slushy machine, childrens toys & books.
: Mattress on double bed very uncomfortable

: We enjoyed creating family memories in a very charming cottage. The bedrooms are spacious and perfect for families looking to stay near Bude. The living room has the perfect sofas to relax on after a day of visiting the surrounding area and we can recommend staying at Tea Cosy Cottage.
: If your looking for a strong WIFI connection then this is the only issue. We feel would be fixed with a WiFi extender installed in the cottage.
