Disappointing
Traveller Type: Traveling as Couple
  : I stayed there when my wife (who is pregnant) and I encountered foul weather in the mountains on our way back home a couple hours east. We liked that there was a vacancy as we did not plan on getting stuck in Buena Vista.
  : The room had a terrible musty odor. It must have been mold, because over the next couple hours both my wife and I developed a bad cough, and left at midnight to try our luck with the weather instead. Unfortunately I was born with a lung condition and got super sick the following weeks, including fevers, migraines, and an increasing cough. I ended up getting scans recommended by my doctor about a month after my stay in this room, and they found many concerning things - including possible fungal infection and/or possibly cancer. Now I'm being seen by oncology doctors and it has been crazy. I am only 31 years old! That was one expensive hotel room. However, if it turns out to be cancer, the room that made me so sick could be a weird blessing in disguise because I was feeling normal before going there. I really hope I just have a fungal infection from the mold, but that is bad for my pre-existing condition too. It all comes down to creating a healthy environment for the guests - that is all I needed. The hotel was fine otherwise - staff was fine. This was a weird review - I know.

  : Breakfast could see improvement. Lobby could be cleaner and more appealing
