  : The breakfast was very good and the terraces behind the restaurant are great.
  : The hotel needs being renovated as there are quite some places where reparation is necessary. I'm not going to show the pictures, because this could lead to generalizing a situation, but a few places need definitely being replastered. In our room you can see that the shower and sink aren't as bright as before. At the entrance of our room, there was a plant in really bad shape. This detail shows that the attention has lowered. The price of the food in the restaurant, considering the portion and elaboration, is too high. We changed places at the dinner, because of anoying ants climbing on the table, and at breakfast, there were quite some wasps flying around. These things can be avoided. I was also really worried to hear, in covid times, a receptionist with a heavy cold and a staff member in the restaurant that was coughing repeatedly. I told this to that young woman of the reception, who didn't even wear her mask properly and who told us that many people had a big cold...She was clearly not really impressed by the importance of these basic rules. As to the room : we were awakened by a truck in the very early morning, picking up all the waste of the hotel. I don't know what has happened here, but paying a high price and a 5***** qualification come with high expectations. I'm being asked to write an honest review, which I've tried to do correctly without exagerating things.

  : The hotel itself is beautiful, clean, and tastefully decorated, and has lots of little spaces to relax. Our room was surprisingly large, and had a comfortable bed and nice large bathroom (no bath though). Staff were friendly and helpful, and we had a delicious dinner at the restaurant. This is a place to come for calm and relaxation, as it's very quiet and secluded.
  : The hotel is in a very secluded location, so you'll need a car and a bit of time to get to restaurants or activities elsewhere on the island. The coastline adjacent to the hotel is covered in seaweed, which makes the beach a bit uninviting, and there's not much of a view in general. This is disappointing considering how many stunning views there are in other spots on the island. While our room was large, much of it was taken up by an oversized entry and hall area, which could have easily accommodated a separate seating/TV arrangement but was left empty. Pest control also seems to be a problem, making it difficult to enjoy the patio area.

  : My husband and I were at the hotel now from September 4th to 9th. There are a lot of small ants throughout the territory and on the beach. But the hotel management does not want to fight it, the ants got into our car and we brought a full car of ants home to Italy. ants crawl everywhere when you lie on the beach on a lounger and bite! but this is not all the features of a 5 * hotel. The distance between the shower trays is too narrow, and since there is no glass or door in the shower, you have to wipe the water off the floor with a towel every time. for 4 days the towels were changed only 2 times, during the shift when the girl cleaned. two days out of four the guy cleaned, wet towels did not change. In other 5* hotels the rooms are cleaned twice a day. The restaurant in googlemap has only 3.2 points for a reason. Tasteless, very expensive: 230 for two tasteless dinner and 80 lunch 2 hamburgers and beer. Don't expect to find anything near the hotel. the place is deaf. abandoned French province. there is practically no alternative. access to the beach either across the road along a narrow scary staircase 40 cm wide, or under a gloomy concrete bridge. detour through a semi-abandoned garden. Looks like the hotel saves on everything. gardener and cleaner. The manager who met us did not even order us a restaurant for dinner at our request, did not bother to show the territory, as it should be in good hotels. Not 5*! We were very disappointed. Do not believe the beautiful photos of the areas with sofas and books, it is impossible to sit there, because there are no air conditioners, and the evening does not get there. the hotel looks like a prison, half-abandoned and very tight-fisted by the administration. do not recommend.
