Florella République Apartment

Disappointing
Traveller Type: Family with Young Children
: The apartment was very untastefully furnished and with extremely little furniture. The furniture that was there was old, damaged and dirty. The kitchen was in a moderate state of repair and in the bathroom a radiator was hanging half crooked (dangerous). In addition, there was no dishwasher.

: Location was good, water in the bathroom were hot, spacious rooms.
: The property is in a good location, however I wouldnt stay here again. The property is outdated, the furniture is old and shabby. The sofa is the living area is extremely uncomfortable and literally peeling off. The property in general wasnt very clean, we bought cleaning products and cleaned it ourselves. There were no cleaning products and nor basic condiments- salt, pepper, olive oil etc. The bedding was clean and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen is stocked well with cutlery and plates. There was enough hot water for 6 people. The property is in an ideal location for the centre of Cannes. Beware there is no lift and when stairs are narrow and steep. The water for the shower in the bathroom upstairs leaks completely out of the shower cubicle.

Very Poor

: BE CAREFUL! The room was nothing like the pictures! Terribly dirty, hair all over the bed sheets and the bathroom, yellow pillows and stained sheets, dirt inside the toilet and hair in the sink and shower. The bed underneath was shred! This is not about small damages furtniture might have, this is about dirt. The cleanness of the bed and the bathroom is not negotiable in a hostel! It had a weird smell and the room seemed as if it was not cleaned. After 8 hours of travelling we came to see this mess, although we arrived 2 hours later than check in time. Even though we immidiately left the place and did not stay neither of the two nights we had booked, they refused to give our money back. We were so tired yet we had to find another place to go. It was their responsibility to have the room cleaned two hours after check in time without us asking for it. They tried to escape the refund in every way possible. Booking.com felt so sorry for us after the pictures we sent them that they returned us their whole profit of the booking, which was unfortunately only 25e. This is not the way to treat customer/travellers. We feel scammed. We would advice everyone to stay away from this hostel.

: Save your energy and dont waste your time here. Its not worth for staying in the apartment.
: The checkin and checkout process is over complicated. The staff doesnt know the apartments if there has been an issue after your arrival. They are helpless. You must control the equipment by yourself after the previous guests.Additionally, there are asking for insane deposit.
