Wonderful
Traveller Type: Traveling as Couple
: Gem of a location, almost bang on the beach. The beach itself is about 100metres of sand before it reaches the water, which is another 100m toddler-deep before it turns swim-worthy, so by the time you get there from your sunbed and back a few times, you will have also done your cardiologist-prescribed daily walk quota. Firm beds healthy for sufferers of bad back. Apartment advertised as for 5 is comfortable for a couple, tough on a family of 5. Remember to bring your own towels and toiletries, as none are provided. Kitchen stuff adequate. Staff helpful, check-in procedure smooth, if in a different location about 1,5 km away.
: Waste disposal procedure is baffling, bordering on the ludicrous. A poster in the room instructs you in 4 languages to divide waste into 5 categories but only 2 bags are provided, you have to add more bags of your own, and bio-degradable. The fenced-in premises have 3 bins, for the other 2 you have to walk some distance to the street (although you may take this as another healthy excecise). Different categories are to be deposited in their respective bins on different days, none of which may correspond with your check-out day. One of the outside bins is even locked but no key is provided. One is unlikely to fulfil all the instructions, and the whole procedure is rather odd given that the apartment price includes a payment for final clean-up. For self-catering there is no convenient shop nearby and a 5-minute drive to the nearest supermarket is unavoidable.
