  : The location that’s it.
  : Un-cleaned room upon check-in w/pizza boxes/cans dirty toilet. Every single time we left the room, we could not re-enter w/key & had to goto front desk to get scanned to work again. Final/ Sat night @ 2:42 am we had a gentlemen open our door while we were sleeping, he was very surprised we were there, apologized and shut the door-they double booked our room I found out the next morn from our favorite breakfast host of 26 years Star Rose! Plus, the pool was closed / under renovation and they neglected to tell us that, but gladly took out weekend/ Chrysler show inflated room rates. The 3am surprise could have went very badly (for him) if my wife and I didn’t fall asleep w/the lights & tv on and he entered the room further in the dark-I don’t respond well to surprises and I’m a very fit and strong middle-aged man. The 2 night stay was a pure nightmare for this new commiefornia hotel chain. Unbelievable the incompetence we witnessed upon check-out and check-in. We think they comp’d us the rooms without asking due to the 3am intruder, which Star told us was a cardinal sin in the hotel biz and she was taking this all the way up the flag pole, but the bill doesn’t even state our correct room #! Therefore, I’m not sure that’s even accurate they didn’t bill us! I’ll check with my credit card co, before I deal with that front desk shit-show again if they billed us or not! Never again!

  : Nice place, had a musty smell. But overall not bad. Staff was nice on arrival, and breakfast lady was phenomenal! However I was double charged. Once through booking and again through larkspur. When I called to resolve the issue, I spoke with Nickie who could stand to take a class in customer service. I was not rude, and knew this could be resolved, however when I didn't have my reservation # and wanted to look at my check in day, the attitude from Nickie was awful. When I asked for a manager, conveniently one was not available and all she could give me was an email. Which since I email twice to resolve the overcharge and got no response. I don't bother. Will not stay again, because there was no need for an attitude from Nickie
