  : The rooms were nice and spacious and the facility appears to be fairly new. The drink station is a nice touch as well as the apples at the front desk. Fatima was professional and welcoming.
  : There was no oatmeal at breakfast and the fresh yogurt machine was out both days we stayed. I also don't like that people go to breakfast in their pajamas. Not sure if there's anything you can do about that...

  : The room was huge and recently renovated. It had a kitchenette with a dishwasher. There was a nice shared patio area with fire tables etc.
  : Bed was not comfortable and while the room was mostly clean the trash from the last guest was left in the can under the sink, rotting banana peels and all. There was a sketchy guy in the lobby when we checked in and the woman at the desk was acting really strange. When he walked away she told me he’s not a guest and although she seemed really uncomfortable it didn’t seem like she was going to do anything about it (it was like 10 pm). He tried to get into the elevator with me after that and although the door closed before he could I didn’t really feel safe. When I went down to move my car from the checkin area the cops were there because another guest called them, and the hotel did not. Would not stay there again.

  : The hotel is very easy to reach and within a short driving distance of the restaurants of downtown Carlsbad. There is even a brewery next door! The hotel staff made us feel welcome and provided us with free water upon arrival. The room itself is very large, with a nice sitting area and a large and comfortable bed. The shower was also good, though not ideal for people over six foot two (190 cm)! We slept well with minimal street noise.
  : The garbage bin under the sink looked like it hadn't been cleaned in quite some time: it was very full! The breakfast was quite minimal and a lot of options were already gone by the time we came down for breakfast, still well within the operation times.
