  : The location and view are amazing.
  : Having done furnished rentals for decades, I could not possibly imagine or have encountered that I would be charged for sheets and towels and then, the ones that I paid for were in poor condition. Though clean, there were pills (knots) which felt like sand in the sheets -- and only given one bath towel (no beach towels). Luckily my friends provided me one from the flat they were staying at. I obviously was coming from elsewhere (my phone number and language probably would be a clue). If it's really inconvenient for the host to provide those things they should just build it into the price because having correct change is not always possible 1-2 days before arrival. I'd also like to add that there was only ONE roll of toilet paper and while I didn't need more the "what if?" in a town full of seafood is there. I found it petty and unwelcoming that simple things like sheets are old and charged for. None of the light bulbs in any bedroom lamp worked. I ended up unscrewing one bulb from another and only finding them burned out. Bath curtain probably needs to be updated and quite a bit of black mildew in shower.

  : The location cannot be topped. The deck overlooking the sea, the sound of the waves, the easy access to the port, restaurants, and shopping is incredible. If you are hiking the Calanques, this place is right on the road there. I cannot say enough about the location and the value.
  : This does not relate to the apartment, but to the challenges of transportation in Cassis if you do not arrive by car, but by train. My recommendation: at the train station, take a taxi. Don't try to negotiate your ride to the property with the buses. We were dropped off very far away from the Bestouan beach which is quite near the property. So far in fact that we got completely lost and Thibault, the very nice gentleman who was to greet us at the property had to come and get us in his car. THANK YOU THIBAULT! Had it not been for that, our arrival would have been really challenging.

  : The view is wonderful and the location not far from the port, beaches and the area where all the action is in the town. It was great that we could just walk a short distance to the rocks in front of the apartment and jump in the water and snorkel with no crowds as found on the neighboring beaches
  : We were aware from the previous reviews that the place was somewhat broken down. I am a building contractor, and have a premier short term rental I rent on VRBO, so I think I am qualified to make some judgments. The view and the location was what we came for and it was great as was shown from the pictures. But unfortunately, the place was beyond what should be acceptable for a rental. On first inspection, one sofa appeared dirty. I bought a sheet to cover it. The handle on the fridge was broken, the trim on the cabinet doors was peeling off, the cutting board was in pieces. All of these things I fixed in 10 minutes with some glue, so why couldn't the owner have done the same. There was no working coffee pot and we needed to convince the person who received us to bring us a new one, which she did the next day. When we mentioned these things to the host, she said that they were going to do a complete remodel after we left. So next year, we will see from the reviews if they remodeled the place. We would gladly return, even to find the broken state of affairs, the view and location were worth it. Its just sad that the owner has received so many bad reviews over the same issues in the past and hasn't taken care of them.

  : The view was amazing! Location cant be beat.
  : The property was not comfortable lots needs attention. You are not allowed to check in after 9:00pm. (We had a train from Paris that arrived at 9:54) we had to stay somewhere else the first night.
