Casa Da Muralha

The Casa da Muralha is located in the upper part of the old town of Castelo de Vide facing the old town walls. It is inserted in the green areas of the São Mamede Mountain Natural Park. This holiday home has a private bathroom and an equipped kitchen. The living room comes with a TV fireplace and sofas. It is a typical and rustic house from the Alentejo region.

Guests are welcome to prepare their own meals in the equipped kitchen at their disposal. Alternatively the centre of Castelo de Vide is a short 2-minute walk and features several restaurants serving traditional Portuguese meals. The church of Santa Maria da Devesa is a 5-minute walk from the house. A 7-minute walk away are the Jewish quarter the historical synagogue and the castle. The village of Marvão is 11 km away.

The Roman ruins of “Ammaia” located in São Salvador da Aramenha are 10 km away. The border into Spain is just 14 km away from the Casa da Muralha. The Castelo de Vide Train Station is a 7-minute drive.
