  : Unique property in the center of town. Parking was also well consider with their private garage.
  : The lighting in the bathroom is not so great. And the top floors dont have windows out. But excellent sky lights. Minor things in comparison to the rest of the property and the graciousness of the staff.

  : Brilliant dinner, great breakfast really helpful staff. The location being in a pedestrian area was very quiet, albeit posing some minor access problems, and it was only minutes walk from the main attractions.
  : The room was sparsely decorated, very minimalist, poor space for luggage and no safe in which to leave stuff.

  : A modern, boutique hotel, located in an old building with lovely marble stairways, though the passageways leading to the bedrooms are just plain white walls. The location was excellent, in the old city, in a quiet, pedestrianised street, reasonably close to the station, and with many restaurants and the main shopping street nearby. The hotel was clean, the staff friendly, and breakfast had excellent choices, in a very pleasant room with jars of seeds and nuts lining all of one wall. Oddly, there is a games room, with pool and football tables.
  : I'm sure many would find this an impressive hotel, but I was slightly disappointed. The room was large but furnished in an austere modern style, and the modern "aids to living" were not the easiest or most convenient to use. The shower was in the bedroom, behind a glass wall - fine for some, but not exactly private if the room was booked by two friends sharing to save money. The controls for the shower were also a distance from the shower heads requiring walking back and forwards to control temperature and pressure. The mattress was quite firm, which was fine for me, but maybe not for some. From what I recall there was only one armchair - in a double room! And, as is usual with Italian hotels, no tea or coffee making facilities in the room. Also, no complementary bottles of water. I paid 200 for one night, admittedly a late booking, but a lot for a room that had no view, only 2 Velux windows in the ceiling. I couldn't figure out the electronic controls for the blinds. One of the reasons I chose this hotel was the in-house restaurant, but I stayed on a Sunday night and the restaurant was closed. There is a lift, that only goes to up to the 3rd floor, with stairs required to access the top floor (and the concierge did not offer to help with my luggage!)

  : It a nice design concept where the old and the new are blended together to a achieve an interesting result. The breakfast was also very good.
