  : Great host ready to help. Very good location just next to main Via Etnea. The host even allowed us to leave our baggage of the day we left the room.
  : Very disturbing noise from the bathroom of the neighbouring rooms.

  : Nice 'retro' style room in old town building. Comfy matress, nice balcony. Nice area in the city center.
  : Had to cancel my staying earlier and find another hotel, Because of the 'no visitors' rule, that was not written anywhere in the hotel Policy and no will from the manager to compromise (e.g. to register visitor if it is required by authorities). Facilities need renovation, towels are changed per 2-3 days, bedding - per 4 days. No hair dryer.

  : A downtown B&B in a former big appartment, now shared by B&B renters and a local policeman who lives in a room there, as well, and manages the B&B. Room and bathroom w/shower were spacious and tidy. Aside from being offered a breakfast in the appartment's kitchen/dining area, there was also the option to take coupons for (free, minimalistic Italian) breakfast at 1 of 2 adjacent cafes. Appartment is in downtown and close also to airport bus stop. We were able to experience Catania (baroque buildings, churches, early-morning fish market, shopping, restaurants) by foot from there. Plenty restaurants, and also a small park, are within 2 blocks.
  : Car parking would be quite a hazzle. Traffic is horrible, notably in the late afternoons. (As this was the end of our trip, we returned our rental early, and took shuttle bus from/to airport. Airport is fairly close to downtown).

  : Description included coffee, champagne, etc. Never saw them. Not very important. Just inaccurate.

  : I am very upset that I stayed here. For the price, the value was exceptionally poor.
  : - check in was very difficult- check out is 10:30, which is earlier than what is typical for the region.- the “queen” bed was two mattresses stuck together, not in fact a queen bed as advertised- it was extremely loud outside of the room- the bathrooms are archaic, but the lights are on a timer. So if you are in the shower for more than a few minutes, the lights turn off and the only way to turn them on is to exit the shower- they keychain is big and bulky, and is annoying to carry aroundWhat a terrible experience. There are so many other hotels so close - it is such a shame I ended up there.
